新年初七-人日快乐！ This is an old work of mine, and I could have done better on the texturing of the pancakes but I love the eggs so here you go. 😅 Chinese culture is amazingly interesting, today is 人日, literal translation is Human Day. A nice hot cuppa of mocha would be nice in this weather. ❄️ It's actually 23 degrees Celsius, not very cold to the rest of the world but it is chilly for us here! Whip out your coats and boots fellow countrymen and women, this is probably the closest to winter we're ever going to get. By the way, the tiny straw (which works!) is also handmade from polymer clay. Along with the rest of the miniature coffee and cup. The traditional layered sponge cake, in pink. It is only 6mm wide, balanced on my index finger! My wrist almost broke while struggling with my hefty DSLR & lens with one hand and posing this cake with the other. After 7 years, I think it's time to change. Good morning! 🌤 Each salmon nigiri measures at about the length of my thumbnail. I don't know if you can spot it, but the rice beneath is ONE lifesized rice grain instead of the regular sushi rice (made up of many grains). The reason is that this sushi project was made to heighten the importance of a single rice grain, and how poverty and starvation still exists even in Singapore. #polymerclay #sushiexpress #miniature
